Maine is a beautiful state. I stayed in Harpswell, Maine. The beach house we stayed in had this amazing view. There are boats in this picture. Maine is known for its lobster pronounced lob-stah. Being able to wake up to this view and seeing the sunset go down was just mind-blowing. One day I will come back to this beautiful place that I fell in love with.

Only in Guatemala....
Only in Guatemala did my cousins teach me how to play pool( I think that's what it is called). My skills are not good at all but it was really fun. And my 11 year old cousin always seems to be good at everything . He taught me how to play and he's the pro. My two younger cousins were excited to visit this restaurant because they get to play pool.

Nothing better than coconuts
I love coconuts. In Guatemala I was able to drink and eat coconuts almost everyday. This coconut was given to me by my aunt. Funny thing how I took this picture the day I left my grandma's house. Thanks to my cousin who took this for me. It always amazes me how there are palm trees everywhere in the village my family lives in. If I lived there I would be picking coconuts everyday. Nothing better than fresh coconuts.
Green Thump Grandpa
This is my tomato plant that my grandpa planted in my garden. I was so happy that I was able to eat fresh tomatoes from my garden. It seems like my grandpa has a green thumb. My best childhood memory was going outside and helping my grandfather water and plant the plants. Next year I hope to have more tomatoes than this year. Thanks abuelo.

Life is better at the Beach♥
This past weekend we all went on a beach trip. Grandma got to visit my new school. We got to show her around Ocean City MD. I enjoyed taking selfies with my grandma. She bring so much happiness into my life. I make her laugh and she makes me laugh. I love spending bonding time with her since I only see her once a year. I love you grandma with all my heart. I will never forget this trip with my grandma.
ONCE A TITAN, ALWAYS A TITAN
I am a High School Graduate!May 27 ,2014 I graduated from high school. My family was there to support me ! I am so thankful to have so many people in my life who love me. Without the support and love my family has given me , I wouldn't have made it to where I am now. There are many things I learned throughout high school. One thing is once you walk across that stage it goes by quick. This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. But once a titan always a titan. Love my family and hope to continue sharing my accomplishments with them.

Be the change you want to see in the world
Today May 22nd was my senior night at Einstein. I received four awards at my senior night. My biggest accomplishment is being one of the few Latina students to go across the stage. Although I live in a diverse community ,the Hispanic community is not always represented in events. The truth is not everyone strives to be the best student. My success has been something I never imagined for myself . My favorite quote by Gandhi inspires me everyday. I want to start that change in this world . I want everyone to believe in themselves. It is possible for minorities to stand out and take advantage of all the opportunities out there. My educational journey will empower me to share all my knowledge with others all over the world.

Done with High School
I can't believe that I am officially done with high school. It feels as if just yesterday I was a freshman in high school. Looking back I realized I learned a lot about the world and myself. Mistakes are bound to happen. The most important thing is to get right up and learn from those mistakes. Even though the high school experience isn't always perfect , make the best of what you have and enjoy those years in your life.

Hard work pays off :)
Never did I think I would be awarded a scholarship. I am so thankful that I was given an awesome scholarship. My advice to everyone is to work hard for something you want. I am still working on believing in myself but my hard work has payed off. I wouldn't have been awarded a scholarship if I hadn't tried hard in high school. Its never easy to get this far but it pays off in the long run. I also read all 20 of the books in the Black-Eyed Susan program at my school. They had a raffle and I won a kindle. I'm so excited to have a kindle. This week has been the most amazing time for me. I won a scholarship and a kindle. My mother taught me to try hard and to never give up. I'm thankful for the advice my mother has given to me. More importantly I thank god for giving me all these wonderful opportunities in my life .
A Night Under The Stars
Prom 2014! Prom was April 25. It was an amazing night. I got to hang out with friends and enjoyed the party! Even though we had an early prom everything went well. I loved my dress. Not only was prom fun but I enjoyed after prom. During after prom I got a temporary tattoo, made a build-a-bear , took pictures and had my favorite frozen yogurt. It was a night to remember that you can only experience once.

The Biggest Decision I've Ever Made
Its weird to realize that this year I am turning eighteen. I'm leaving my home to live the American lifestyle. I committed to Salisbury University! This is one the scariest things I've had to do. Its bitter sweet because my life is going to change. On the bright side I'm excited to start this new chapter in my life.

Enjoy the little things in life
Took this picture when I went on a run in a trail. I love the serenity of nature. We live in a world where we are surrounded by thoughts and negativity. Am I making the best decision? The answer to that question will only by answered in the future. My mother made me realize that although I don't have everything I could possibly want I do have something. I am lucky to have something. I have the opportunity to change my life and to work hard towards my aspirations and dreams.

Lesson number one is learn to love yourself. At this point in my life its about learning to love everything about myself. Its about embracing all your flaws. I love my curly hair and my eyes.
